Elections are conducted among the members of the society once in every 5 years to elect a President and 7 Council Members out of whom 5 constitute the Governing Body. It works under a Chairman and meets very often to look after the day to day work of the society and its institutions.

Late. Shri Rao Bahadur P. N. Pandit of Sirsi, Late. Shri L. H. Prabhu of Honnavar, Late. Dr. B. M. Pai, Kumta and Late. Shri P. R. Nayak, Kumta were the past presidents.
